Sayote Farm

No more sayote farm..its not actually a farm. I just tend to exaggerate sometimes especially on those things my grandmother owns. I think I mentioned in one of my blog posts before that ,my lola has this sayote vines at the back of her house. It was swept away by the typhoon along with her lemon trees, squash vines and camote tops. Water went inside lola’s house. Endless drippings from the attic up to the dirty kitchen area. Lola’s house has 3 floors, the family room and 2 bedrooms are located on the second floor. Water from the outside found their way through the front windows in the family room. The 2 bedrooms were all flooded. These were all but minor damages on my lola’s house. While the house where I was staying is a different story. The whole back area plus almost ¾ of the kitchen area literally went down. I remembered Kuya AIM used to tease about having my own forest at the back of my house. Now, I no longer have my own forest, hell, I don’t even have a kitchen not to mention a house 

Typhoon Juan left us a lot of things and one of them is being homeless. The typhoon washed away part of the house and the sort of forest at the back. Now, all you can see are just mud, garbage and fallen pine trees. Remnants of typhoon Juan. I cant help but shed a tear when Julyanah(my eldest) asked me: “mama, lilipat na naman ba tayo?” for the past year, nakakailang lipat na kami ng bahay. Naging hobby ko na ang magligpat. Expert na ko dyan.  Her question left me thinking….hayysssss

Sa totoo lang, ive a lot of things to say.. but it seemed as if ive ran out of words to use. Typhoon Juan really left me with a lot of things. Kasabay ng pag-alis at paghupa ng unos, sabay din ng dagsa ng mga problemang hindi matapos-tapos, maubos-ubos. Over time na, ayaw pa paawat. Sa pag-alis ni Juan, dumating ang realization, nadagdagan ang pressures, nakisabay ang deadlines, nawalang parang bula ang happiness at kung anik-anik pa. I don’t even know how to end this post..

**pasensya na sa mga napagsaraduhan ng blog ko.. I don’t wanna give reasons as to why I did it.. ang importante ngaun, bukas na ulit siya..**

I thank God were safe…
